De Elaaf The Luxury Stay

We’ll definitely miss the breakfast buffet, especially the puri channa. It was delicious, with a taste that really stayed with us, and was one of the best parts of our stay. I’d happily come back with family or friends, and recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar.

Coming from Udhampur for a doctor’s visit meant making several trips each day, so staying in central Rajbagh made things much easier and less stressful. Dal Lake, Lal Chowk, and Srinagar’s main sights are all close by. Even though it’s in the city, the garden setting feels peaceful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the staff were caring, polite, and ready to help. It’s one of the best places in Rajbagh for families or anyone wanting a convenient, comfortable stay. I loved it and would recommend it to other visitors.

I came from the US hoping for a quiet, clean place, and De Elaaf delivered on both. There was hardly any noise anywhere in the hotel, so we slept peacefully. The team keeps the property clean and was very friendly. The experience felt more like staying in a serviced apartment than a hotel. We initially booked two days because it was hard to choose among Srinagar hotels with so many good reviews. I planned to extend or move elsewhere for the next three days, but ended up staying here for the whole visit. The location is excellent, about a five-minute drive from Dal Lake. We tried both room types. The king room was huge and really impressive; the deluxe was standard in size but still good for a couple. Having heating or AC available around the clock, along with 24-hour hot water in the bathroom, was very comfortable. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but it was great every day.

The calm, clean atmosphere made those four days especially relaxing, and the food was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. Room service and the rest of the service were excellent and on time. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help with a smile, which made me feel welcome from start to finish. I made some lovely memories here and would be glad to return. Thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of me. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.
