Shabbir bhai helped us find good places around Srinagar, and we had a really nice trip. The houseboat had everything we needed. He also served very tasty breakfast and dinner, along with tea and kahava. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The owner was a kind gentleman who helped whenever we needed and shared useful tips for our journey. The place has a calm, soothing atmosphere, right in the heart of Srinagar. I had a really, really nice stay here.

Shabir bhai, the owner, was so kind and looked after everything. We loved the peaceful sunset views and the homemade dinner and breakfast. We had to leave early and only asked for tea, but he made us a full breakfast anyway. That was really touching. Had an amazing stay, and I’d love to come back for longer.

The houseboat sits in a quiet part of Dal Lake, away from the busy tourist areas. Shabir picks guests up by boat and makes sure drop-offs are on time. He also arranged a reliable car and driver for sightseeing and airport transfers. I’ve stayed on several houseboats in Srinagar, but I haven’t had this kind of service and heart anywhere else. I’ll definitely return to New Bul Bul Houseboat. Mr Shabir made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. He was always ready with tea, breakfast, or anything we asked for, and even though dinner wasn’t part of our package, he made delicious home-cooked meals at a very reasonable price. We also had long, engaging conversations about philosophy, politics, and life. He feels like an old friend you didn’t know you had. New Bul Bul Houseboat was the highlight of our Kashmir trip. The houseboat needs major renovation from top to bottom, front to back. There was no hot water, and the TV didn’t work. Thanks to Mr Faizan for listening to our food request and serving what we were looking for.
