Hafiz looked after us so well, always welcoming and happy to help. The houseboat felt like a proper Kashmiri home, with lovely decor and design, comfortable beds, and WiFi and hot water available around the clock. The food was very average, though. Apart from that, it was a great experience.

The peaceful location is away from the other houseboats, and the decor and setting are good. The shikara ride was good too. But the food was dhaba style and subpar, nowhere near what you'd expect from a four-star super luxury houseboat. They only served local water in glass bottles, not bottled water. Meals were in a separate room that was so cold we were freezing, and the heater there didn't work properly. Breakfast had only three items, and they expected us to check out at 11 am. Save your money and stay at a proper hotel instead of choosing a houseboat.

I’m Abhay Raj Gurjar from Rajasthan, District-Beawar, village Piplaj. Hotal Royal Dandoo in Srinagar is amazing, with royal rooms and natural surroundings. Hafiz Bhai is a good person with good behavior, and the food is very tasty.

Mr Hafeez made the stay especially memorable with his kindness and attentive service. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the peaceful setting was beautiful. Everything came together for an unforgettable houseboat visit. Highly recommended for a trip to Kashmir.

Dal Lake’s beautiful surroundings made this feel like a once-in-a-lifetime stay. We had a great time at royal dandoo palace, and Mr Hafeez looked after us with lovely service and hospitality. Tourists visiting Kashmir should give this houseboat a try.
