We had a very pleasant, comfortable stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and the location made it convenient to get around and enjoy activities near Dal lake. Rates are Rs.600-1000/- per day for a couple or group, depending on the season. It’s an affordable, reasonably priced hotel, and I’d stay again and recommend others give it a try at least once 👍

The owner was very cooperative, and we felt safe and well looked after when the staff couldn’t come in during the curfew. We stayed from July 7 to July 14 2016. Burhan wani was killed on July 8 and a curfew was imposed, but the owner served us very well in the staff’s absence. It was a lovely stay with nice people. The hotel is nice too, with parking, a nearby market, and dal lake close by. Highly recommended.

The mountain-facing view was the best part of our stay 😍. Dal lake and nishat garden were within walking distance, and there was a small pizza place called foodle and a few bakeries nearby. The owner was quiet and humble, while the servant was very talkative and took good care of us. There were no room heaters, but they provided hot water bottles that kept us warm well enough. Our Srinagar trip was unplanned, so we had little time to book a hotel. We picked this one at random and felt unsure after reading mixed reviews, but the staff were humble and the rooms were fine for the price. I had a really good experience overall. If you expect a lot, this place might not suit you, but it was really good for the price.

The rooms are spacious, with a working bathroom and a big geyser. Bashir also cooks good food at a reasonable rate, and he took good care of me. He’s talkative, and another solo traveler like me extended his trip because of him. The owners are quiet, humble, and good people. I stayed 4 nights solo and then 2 nights with my parents in April. I chose the hotel because Nishat garden is within walking distance. Go there in the early morning or evening to see the beauty of vast Dal lake. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Dal Lake, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Gardens are all close by, which makes the location a real plus. The rooms are cozy and standard, though the blankets feel too heavy. Service was friendly and very hospitable, but room service was poor and the place seemed short-staffed. The food needs a lot of improvement. It feels much more like a homestay than a hotel.
