In the city centre, and the service was good. Dinner was good enough, and all the employees were friendly. The room could've been better for a stay with kids, because of sharp-edged furniture, and the missing shower nob. I told reception about it too, but nothing much happened. Breakfast could use more options, like juice and pastry.

The famous Moonlight Fudge shop is right next to the hotel, with delicious walnut ice cream and their famous walnut fudge. The garden adds charm, and the interiors have a warm, elegant feel. It's quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views, a lovely place for a relaxing stay in Srinagar. 🤍🌿✨

The restaurant was the highlight. The manager was a gentle, humble host, and the whole team was polite and attentive. Their kindness made us feel more like family than guests. The food was absolutely outstanding, honestly one of the best meals I have ever had in Kashmir. Every dish was full of flavour and carefully prepared. Hotel Welcome Grand Srinagar has a beautiful, peaceful ambience, and the staff and management genuinely live up to the name “Welcome.” From arrival, they made us feel respected, valued, and cared for. With management this passionate and a team this hardworking and respectful, I think the hotel will rise to an even greater level very soon. Wishing them all the success they deserve. The kitchen staff, especially the ladies who took orders and served us, were very friendly, and housekeeping was exceptionally prompt. Reception staff, Tahir, another gentelman and the lady, were excellent too. The food was fresh and really well made. One night I also had a nice, impromptu conversation with the owner. He shared a beautiful insight into the Kashmir of yesterday years and gave us some recommendations for our next trip.
