Jyothi Suites

Jyoti Suites is a small, well-managed place that feels more like a serviced apartment than a regular hotel. We booked a two-bedroom apartment, with facilities comparable to a 3-star hotel, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Staff were supportive, and there was covered parking. Its biggest plus is being just a short walk from the main entrance of the Srirangam Temple. There’s no restaurant on site, but several good vegetarian places are nearby. The only drawback is that there’s no lift, which could be an issue for senior citizens. We had a comfortable stay and would recommend it to families visiting the temple.

Jyothi Suites is within 700 meters of Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple, which was the main convenience for us. I stayed there with my family from 4 Dec, 2025 through 5 Dec, 2025. Our suite had two bedrooms, a dining area, an attached kitchen, a large hall, and a TV. Everything was very clean, and the staff were cordial. I really enjoyed the stay and strongly recommend considering Jyothi Suites for a visit to Srirangam.

There were no basic cooking supplies in the kitchen, not even tea or coffee, sugar, oil, or salt, so cooking there wasn’t really possible. We booked for three people, but proper facilities were provided for only two. The third person got a bed with no mattress or blanket, so we shared our blankets with them to use as a mattress for the night. None of us slept comfortably.

The apartment was well kept, with five apartments in the building. Each one has a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, one attached bathroom, and one shared bathroom. There are only basic utensils, plus a stove and fridge, but we didn’t use those. Food isn’t available there. We ate one meal at the Srirangam temple and had breakfast at Mani’s cafe. It was a very pleasant short stay and worth it for a family.
