We arrived around 4:00am, and the person in charge was very rude. When I asked for bathing towels, he shouted at me and didn't provide any. The room was dirty, including the very dirty bedspreads and walls, and it felt suffocating inside. I booked through agooda app, and it was a complete waste of money. A really bad experience, I wouldn't choose this homestay.

Caretaker Mr. Senthil was welcoming and helpful, and the autowallahs and local people were friendly and helpful too. They made my Srirangam visit memorable. The place is very close to the RajaGopuram, and if there are no older people with you, the temple is walkable. Auto prices are reasonable. Tiffin centers are easy to find nearby, and for meals you need to go toward the temple area. There is also a restaurant near Rajagopuram.

An old building with no lift, and it was very dirty and unhygienic. Not worth staying here.

It's basically one room flat per floor, with AC and a TV showing only local channels. There's no pantry or kitchen, and no towels or toiletries in the bathroom. No tea, coffee, or breakfast either. Only two cars can park in front of the homestay, and the spaces are usually occupied. It's a retiring room in name only, so don't be taken in by the homestay label. I'd give it 1.5 stars.

The guy working there was very friendly, and the location is prime, with an easy walk to the temple and back. It's fine for a day or two. But the photos were misleading because the rooms looked clean in them, while the beds and pillow covers were still dirty when we checked in. The rooms could have been neater.
