The Scarlet Srirangam

After we checked out at about 11 am, we came back around 2 and they let us use a room to change after visiting the temple. We stayed for a day and had a good experience. Parking was easy, and they provided a place for our driver to stay. We ordered dinner in advance, and it was ready at 9 pm when we returned from the temple. The complimentary breakfast was good too. Morning coffee and tea arrived on time, and they can serve restaurant food if you order ahead.

Skarlet Hotel is a real gem for a visit to Srirangam. The home-style food was delicious, 10/10, and there’s plenty of parking, which is a big plus in this area. The hospitality felt like a homestay, but with top-tier service. I loved my time here. They treated us so well that words don’t really cover it.

I booked at the last minute and was glad the hotel turned out well. The rooms were fine, though there was already some trouble getting the hot water started. I’d stay again and recommend it to other travellers. One thing to know: we used the local auto they preferred to get to the railway station for a 6 in the morning departure, and the driver charged a very hefty fare. I wouldn’t book an auto through reception. Just use Uber, which works even at odd hours.

There’s an auto stand nearby, which makes it easy to get to the nearby temples. We had a comfortable stay at this lovely hotel near Srirangam temple. The staff were kind and obliging, and the food and service were exceptional. Breakfast was simple and tasty, while lunch and dinner had a great menu at affordable prices.
