Gaffur Bhai was generous and helpful. We were given blankets for the cold, fresh sheets after water spilled on the bed, and chai even at very late hours, which I really appreciated. The rooms and washrooms are spacious, but the ground floor rooms lack privacy, so I’d choose an upstairs one, which seemed a little better. Wi-Fi was a major problem and never worked; maybe that’s a Mahabaleshwar issue rather than something specific to the hotel. The amenities could use improvement. Food is better found elsewhere. It’s decent value if you’re on a tight budget. A large vehicle like an XUV may struggle with the approach road, though parking inside is easy. Ask the staff for nearby viewpoints and food suggestions.
