OYO 10390 Wayanad Dream Nest

We were 10 people and spent 2 days here for a weekend. The rooms are big, clean and well maintained, and for the price the size is worth it. The garden is well kept, and there's an outdoor cafe area. Staff were friendly and let us use the kitchen, which had everything, including gas and a refrigerator. They arranged a campfire nicely for us and didn't charge, though they said it would cost 500rs.

The location was lovely, and once we got settled the room was nice. Still, the owner should check that every room is ready before guests arrive: our washroom was dirty at first, so they moved us to another room. We had to ask for basics like soap, hand-wash and tissue paper, but they did provide everything in the end.

They serve high-quality home food throughout the stay, so this is a great homestay near Bandipur forest, especially if you're a foodie and prefer to keep your daily travel distances short. Nearly all the tourist spots are about 40kms away, except edakkal caves. I'd book here without a second thought.

The food was poor and expensive. The idly was so hard we played seven stones with it, and they charged for drinking water too. Chappathi was costly as well, so ask the price before ordering. Meals were good, but the price was heavy. They mix milk with water to make tea, coffee and milk.
