We paid INR 2000 for one room in a flat with two keys and two rents, and there wasn't even a key for the main door. There was no AC, hot water, or fan. In Kozhikode, we had stayed in a hotel for INR 3500 and got a large family room with two king-size beds and AC. This felt like a cheating experience.
The rooms are spacious, and the place is about 10 minutes inland from the main road. But the cleaning and food need work, and they provide just one towel per room regardless of how many people are staying. It would be worth a visit if the amenities improve.
I really enjoyed my time in Kerala at this guest house. It's quiet, and the rooms are clean. Everything was good apart from the staff, who were a bit slow and didn't provide the service I'd expected.
