Woodside Homestay Wayanad

Birdwatchers will love the chance to photograph birds here, and spotted deer and barking deer sometimes wander through the property. You can walk in the woods behind it and wake up to birdsong in peaceful surroundings. The accommodation is clean and functional, and host Yazdi is always on site and has plenty of interesting stories to tell. Sultan Batteri is close enough if you need supplies. If you're after somewhere to relax in nature, this is the place.

We felt at home right away at Woodsite Homestay. Yazdy shared stories and wisdom, and cooked dishes using local ingredients, which made our amazing stay unforgettable.

Mr Palia is warm, friendly, helpful, and full of interesting information. He's a great cook too. We had a fantastic time enjoying the wildlife, scenery, and surroundings. He can arrange tours and onward travel, and knows a lot about local wildlife, including how to talk to the giant squirrels. I'd highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

The atmosphere was good and we had a good stay, close to the forest. Jeep safari is available. We used a taxi from nearby Thumbi Travels Wayanad, with Mr. Sreejesh for pickup, drop-off, and sightseeing.
