I stayed in three rooms, and each had problems. In the second room, the check-in card didn't work, so there was no electricity. In the third, the AC was out, the fan ran very slowly, and there was no TV or phone to call reception. The toilet smelled strongly like a gutter, there were lots of mosquitoes, and the pillow covers and sheets were dirty. In the first room, a gap by the window let in traffic and outside noise, and there were mosquitoes there too. No towel was provided, there was no AC remote, and the TV didn't have a Tata Sky subscription.

The two-night stay was close to a nightmare. Water kept being an issue, housekeeping was poor day and night, and the rooms given at check-in were dirty. Toilets were dirty, curtains broken, termites in the cabinets, dead cockroaches in a drawer, and spider webs in the room. The night staff were especially rude and inefficient, including the manager. The night staff were also blind, deaf, and dumb, yet rude. Pathetic hotel.

The rooms had everything I needed, including fast Wi-Fi, a cozy bed, and a modern bathroom, and were clean and comfortable. From arrival, the staff were welcoming, professional, and friendly. Check-in was quick, and I felt at ease right away. I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Privia.

I tried this hotel after seeing positive reviews, even though I usually book through Goibibo. I can't understand the 4- or 5-star ratings when it doesn't meet basic 3-star standards. I paid for room amenities, but the TV wouldn't work, and despite complaining for two days they couldn't turn it on. My room wasn't ready when I arrived because they said it wasn't vacant. What's the point of a reservation if you can't check out by your stated 10:00 am time? It seemed like they were just wasting time. Room service was terrible too, I had to ask the receptionist for basics like napkins and towels.
