Lords Plaza, Surat

The rooms were clean, but just average: a bit cramped, not especially well maintained, and the amenities were basic rather than premium. Getting around the city wasn't especially convenient either. What made the stay good was the staff, who were polite, responsive, and professional, with smooth check-in and helpful support. I stayed with friends on holiday, and better rooms and location would make the experience much stronger.

After a long business trip, I arrived late expecting the room category I'd booked to be comfortable. The AC barely cooled the room. I called maintenance right away, and a technician came by and said it was working fine, but nothing changed, so I barely slept that night. A good night's rest matters when you're traveling for work, and losing it can affect the next day. I was also surprised that housekeeping and maintenance hadn't properly checked the room before assigning it. That points to poor service standards and unacceptable hospitality. I expected more professionalism and better service, and hope management takes this seriously and improves its standards.

Being close to the railway station makes the location especially handy. I found the staff helpful and their responses were nice, and the food was good. The rooms were very good and well kept, with excellent cleanliness. My stay at Lords Plaza Surat was comfortable and pleasant, and I'd recommend it.

The staff were very cooperative. Breakfast was just as excellent as dinner, with so much to choose from. The buffet dinner had Indian, Chinese, and Mexican dishes, and the rooms were very clean.
