OYO 26234 Annapurna Nilayam

This place feels like an apartment turned into hotel rooms, not a proper hotel. We booked a three-bed AC room, but only the bedroom with two beds had AC; the third bed was set up in the hall without it. The TV had only free channels, so we couldn't even watch a cricket match. Breakfast was a three-piece bread omelette with a ketchup packet. You couldn't ask for extra ketchup, and complimentary tea wasn't included. Buying tea was a waste of money. There was no proper menu card, kitchen, cook, or even a reception, and room service was awful. They gave us a bedsheet to use as a blanket. The bed wasn't clean and had dust and stains. When we asked them to change the mattress (bedsheet), they said no cleaner was available and told us to manage for the night, promising to do it tomorrow. Nobody responded promptly. We got the room at 9:30pm, but didn't receive all the pillows, bedsheets, and blankets until 11:20pm. They provided water in their own bottle instead of Kinley or Bisleri. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, and their used soaps were still on the washbasin. The location is far inside, and there's no room to turn the car around. To head back, you have to drive into the apartment parking area and turn there. In the morning, the owner's car was blocking ours, and they made us move their car so we could get out. I don't understand how OYO refers customers to a place like this. One star is more than enough. Don't waste your time or money here. It's worse than a hostel dormitory.

The rooms were clean, well maintained, and economical, and there was ample parking. Breakfast was included in our booking, but it was average. The hotel is away from the city, though close to NH and KLU University. It usually takes a long time to get there from the city, and it's a bit hard to find in a village-like area. It's very near AP CM Jagan’s new residence.

I requested housekeeping and got no response. The next day I went to the receptionist myself to complain, and it took another hour before they sent two guys. The room was being kept like this, and it was also very hard to find a proper way to reach the OYO hotel. There's plenty more to complain about. Think twice before booking this OYO room.

The beds were dirty and the sheets hadn't been pressed. The bathroom wasn't clean, and the taps leaked all night. The bottled water wasn't sealed; they refill old bottles. Nothing much to say on the plus side. It wasn't worth the money they charged.
