Blue Water Resort

The food was amazing, with authentic MALVANI flavor and made with care. Staff were limited, but they attended to guests sincerely. People here didn’t seem greedy, either. It feels homely, and the owner is very helpful and knows how to look after customers. Rooms were clean, though the construction is old. The property has a lovely garden where they can serve lunch on request, as well as a spectacular private beach. Even though it was hot summer, the climate there felt cool.

The resort's private beach is its best feature, and you can go there at night any time. Rooms were clean and tidy. The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices, though service was very slow. Breakfast was included, with bread, butter and jam; Poha or upma; dosa/utappam; boiled egg; fried vada; and tea or coffee. Overall, it's a good place. I'd rate it 4 stars.

Devbag village gives the hotel a village feel, a nice change from the city. The beach is private and enjoyable, and the rooms were clean. Service was good overall, and the seafood was excellent. One seafood thali can serve two people. Owner Mr. Barve was very helpful and arranged travel bookings at the last minute. It’s a nice, affordable place to stay.

The restaurant staff were polite, but they changed my order themselves and wouldn’t admit the mistake. I had to pay for the wrong dish. Parking was very cramped, even with the resort only partly occupied. The bathroom was clean, but the room wasn’t. When booking directly, management may raise the rate on the spot, blaming a misunderstanding. They showed me a beach-facing room before booking, but afterward I could only see other rooms' balconies.
