7-High Rock Hotel

Every meal was fresh, tasty, and satisfying, and the staff were helpful and polite, always ready with a smile. I stayed at 7 High Rock Hotel, New Tehri, Uttarakhand recently and had a really great time. The clean, well-maintained room made it easy to relax. It was a pleasant stay with great hospitality and service, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting New Tehri.

The best rooms face the road, with big windows and balconies. I stayed in this three-storey hotel in a quiet part of New Tehri and found the rooms spacious, clean, and well furnished. The bright white exterior feels welcoming, and the service is warm. Devsingh runs the place and is very friendly. There’s free street parking for at least eight cars out front, a large restaurant on the ground floor, and a multipurpose hall. The kitchen can make tasty food and chai at short notice. You also get hot water around the clock, plus a TV if the surroundings start to pall. It’s not far from Hanuman Chowk on the main highway or from Barari, where there are several restaurants, a bus stand, hotels, shops, a gurudwara, a mosque, and temples.

My first time in the Uttarakhand mountains turned into a really enjoyable experience. I stayed at the 7 hr hotel last night, and the views from the balcony were beautiful. They also provide private car parking, and the food was delicious. If you're around the Tehri side, give this hotel a visit.

It felt like home here, and we liked it a lot. The rooms are spacious and clean, the service is superb, and the food is so tasty. Foreigners can stay here without any problem.
