Aloha On The Ganges, Rishikesh

Choose a river-facing room, and keep in mind that recent construction has made parking and check-in challenging. The property is very well located, with a lovely beach nearby for families and views of the river and the last rapids before the ghats. Rooms and decor are great, service is prompt, and the varied, tasty menu covers all meals. I’d recommend full board. There are activities for kids, including a playroom, small park, and art classes. Thanks to Anoop for making our stay comfortable.

The vegetarian food was delicious and suited the resort’s healthy, soulful feel. Staff were attentive and kept things in good order throughout our stay. Our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Aloha felt wonderfully peaceful, a place to unwind and let the tiredness of everyday life fade. Great spot by the river if you want to recharge.

We loved how child-friendly the place was. Our 15-month-old could play freely, and when he made a bit of a mess, the staff were understanding and kind. Aarti helped us with the picnic setup and made it easy and smooth. It was beautifully arranged and memorable. The Ganga view was breathtaking and peaceful, and our rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were warm and welcoming. The food was next level, with generous portions, excellent quality, lots of variety, and every meal thoughtfully made. A wonderful stay at Aloha on the Ganga, Rishikesh for our little family.

The food at the restaurants was the highlight for us. Chef Sanjay and his team served one delicious dish after another, from morning ragi dosa to mouthwatering sambhar and lauki ki chutney, which I had with nearly every meal. Portions were generous and each dish felt well planned. At the riverside restaurant, the menu brought together dishes from around India, including garwali namak and tasty Litti Choka. We kept eating even after we were full. I’ve stayed at some of India’s best hotels, but never had better hotel food. Worth a visit just for a culinary holiday, even if you leave a few kilos heavier. I highly recommend it. I booked a double bedroom apartment in Rishikesh for a week with my parents. The Ganga ji flowing behind the hotel was gorgeous, just like the photo and even better. The rooms were comfortable, and room service left pretty flowers for us every day. Staff were attentive, greeting us with a smile and warm Namaste each time.
