Blue Jay Smart Stays

The main reason I gave it three stars was the shower, which only started having hot water on our last evening. Staff were kind, but each time we asked for help, we got the same suggestions and the issue wasn’t resolved until then. Maybe the language barrier played a part. For a cheap private room in Rishikesh, it’s basically a cleaner, more upscale hostel than the other places around. The simple cafe is handy for breakfast and drinks, bottled water in the lobby was a big help, and I’d honestly stay again. Just be ready for about 40 light switches, some of which seem to change what they do depending on their mood.

The service was good, but slow, and sometimes I had to ask more than once because staff could forget 😂. The kitchen also closes at certain times, so check the room service schedule, and after 10 you can’t get a meal here. My room had a lovely waterfall flowing below the balcony, and the location was good. The well-kept rooms are nice, and I liked having a smart TV.

We were two women and felt safe the whole time at Blue Jay Smart Stay. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and spacious, and there’s a great common area and rooftop for hanging out with friends or family. Staff were very cooperative, the price was reasonable, and the food was good too. You can also ask them about scooty or rafting.

It was a good stay, and the food was superb. I really liked the service from Mr Suraj and Miss Sheetal, and I’m writing again to highlight the good service from other staff too. Mr Gaurav, please work on your professional and basic etiquettes. If you don’t want to, you’re not the right person to represent any service industry. Thanks, blue Jay smart stay, for the wonderful service.
