The birdsong in the morning made the stay feel especially calm, and the setting is wonderfully peaceful for a family break in nature. My wife, our two kids and I had a lovely time at Deerwood Cottages Homestay. The food was fresh and had that good, home-cooked taste. Nikhil Yadav was warm and helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. A lovely choice for families or anyone wanting a quiet break from city life.

Nikhil was a wonderful host, and we had a great stay. The interiors are thoughtfully done, everything was very clean, and the homely food was delicious. They also had an EV charging facility available.

The view was such a treat, especially at night when the moon and stars were clear. The cottage felt cozy and luxurious, with all the essentials, and it’s beautifully designed. Aastha Dii and Uncle jii made home-style food with so much care. Definitely try the Rajma Rice, Aloo paratha, dum aloo and kadai paneer. Mr. Nikhil was friendly and welcoming too. We had a memorable, peaceful trip and loved the cozy feel here.

Nikhil was a hands-on, gracious host, and the views here are lovely. It’s a great secluded spot for a getaway. I’d happily come back.

The terrace overlooking the mountain ranges was a favorite spot, especially for breakfast. We were lucky to see the scenery change from thick fog on arrival to mountain peaks the next day. The house has three carefully designed bedrooms, thoughtful decor throughout, and a lovely collection of books that makes it feel cozy and homelike. Mr. Nikhil looked after us so well. The meals were fantastic, prepared with care and traditional mustard oil. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to extend our stay, and can’t wait to return.
