Fabhotel Yamunotri Retreat

The location was good, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was excellent. I had a great stay and would love to come back.

The service was slow, apparently because there weren’t enough staff, and the food took over an hour to arrive. In the room, the flush didn’t work, the sheets were torn, and there was no hot water, tea maker, glasses, or toiletries. It was dirty and smelly too. Given the poor experience, I wouldn’t recommend Yamnotri Retreat in Rishikesh, associated with FabHotels. FabHotels may want to revisit its partnerships to make sure quality standards are met. Cleanliness, working amenities, staff training, food quality, and delivery times all need attention. Hope this feedback helps.

The owner was very rude and wouldn’t cooperate, despite all the problems at the hotel. The room shown on Goibibo was different from the room at the property. The washroom flush didn’t work, and there was no warm water. The 5 ⭐ reviews are from their own people, so please don’t trust any of them.

I came down with a fever and couldn’t make it to the hotel. When I called the helpline, I was surprised to learn the hotel had checked me in anyway. Despite repeated requests, they refused even a partial refund or a change to a future date. They also wouldn’t offer any kind of voucher as a courtesy. A worst and pathetic experience. I wish zero stars were possible.
