FabHotel Yogasthali Inn

The road from the highway was so dangerous that we arrived exhausted. We’re both senior citizens with different ailments, and even though we reached after 1 p m, we were made to wait an hour. We were hungry and asked for food, but the person at reception said there was no kitchen arrangement and told me to contact the owner. The owner gave me a number for someone who delivered food. I called the owner to arrange an auto in the afternoon, but the number he provided refused to come to the hotel. Another person quoted 1200 to go to lakshmanjhula. Imagine paying that much when the owner had described the distance as 1km. There was no gen set, the power went out frequently, and although there was a tv set, it was never recharged. We were completely stuck in the room. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I especially advise sr citizens to avoid it. There are many hotels on the main road at the same or lower rates. I first cancelled my booking for a certain reason. The owner then contacted me and offered a lower rate if I booked directly with him. I paid what he asked. When I called to ask how to reach the hotel from haridwar, he got angry and cancelled the booking. A few days later I called to book a room because I prefer fab, and he had a chance to double the rate. I still visited the hotel, and understood how raugh his attitude was on check-in.
