Hotel The Moksham

The room was warm, comfy, and really well done for the price, such a bargain for a budget stay. There isn’t much of a view, but I didn’t miss it since I was out exploring all day. The location is a big plus, surrounded by lively cafés and a vibrant international crowd that adds to the Rishikesh experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and ready to help with local tips or small requests. Special shoutout to the front-desk guy, super easygoing and made me feel at home right away, like a friendly cousin who knows the city inside out.

The staff were super friendly and helped with all my questions about Rishikesh and nearby areas. The guy at reception was a chill dude who made me feel comfortable straight away, like a good cousin from the family. I felt almost guilty getting such a pretty, cosy room at that price. Great for a budget stay. There’s not much of a view, but that didn’t matter when I planned to roam around all day. The hotel’s among super cool cafés full of foreigner crowds.

The staff were super kind and helpful, and the owner was just as warm and accommodating. We stayed for more than a month with my parents. They had a double room, while I stayed in a dorm, and both were very clean, along with the staircases and shared areas. We could use the yoga hall on the top floor, which was a lovely extra. The place is a couple of streets away from the main traffic, so it was peaceful but still convenient. Mosquito nets on the windows and doors were very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back next time!

The staff were extremely friendly, and I felt comfortable here right away. This is a very new, well-maintained hostel with modern rooms and a modern building. Each bunk has its own fan, and there’s a private little terrace for extra comfort. The style feels very Western. A great stay, highly recommended.
