The owners were flexible about our check-in and even arranged local transport to the bus pick-up point for our onward trip. They were wonderfully hospitable and available whenever we needed anything. The road to the house is a bit narrow, but manageable: our driver brought us right to the front door in an Ertiga without trouble. The location also made things easy, with local restaurants and Janki Jhula an easy walk away. Reasonably priced, and highly recommended for a personal, convenient stay.
The hosts were kind and attentive, and the place felt homely, peaceful, and worth the price. It’s a lovely property with clean rooms, just a short walk from Janki Setu, cafes, ghat walks, and other local attractions. I’d happily stay again!
Anil and Sita were friendly and quick to help with anything I needed, from extra towels and coat hangers to more kitchen equipment. My room was clean and tidy, and there are nearby shops for fruit and vegetables. The Ganges is about a 7 minute walk away. I was in Rishikesh for a yoga course with Usha Devi, and the guesthouse was around a 15 minute walk from her yoga shala, which was really convenient. It’s in a safe, quieter part of town, so the usual hustle and bustle didn’t disturb my sleep. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a mid-budget, self-catered stay.
Anil and Seeta were welcoming and ready to help with local tips or anything else we needed. Our deluxe apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with soft beds, a modern bathroom, and a private kitchen that made preparing meals easy. It also had AC, toiletries including shower gel and shampoo, towels, and a balcony where you can sit and take in the view. There’s free Wi-Fi, parking, and daily housekeeping too, which could suit families or longer stays. The place is set a little back from the main road, so it was quiet after a day out. Anandam Home Stay is in Muni Ki Reti near Ram Jhula and Janki Setu, about 400m from Janki Setu, river Ganga, local shops, and key attractions. We paid ₹1300 per night in November 2024. A comfortable stay with thoughtful amenities and warm hospitality.
Being so close to Janki Setu made it easy for us to walk over the bridge and explore nearby. Our small group of 5 girls felt secure and comfortable throughout the stay, thanks to the hostel’s top-notch safety measures. The staff were supportive, and we loved staying here. I’d recommend it to anyone after a safe, friendly place.
