The Great Ganga, Rishikesh

I stayed with my parents, and getting to the hotel by car was easy. It’s right by the Ganga beach, has plenty of parking, and offers a great view of the beach from the room, restaurant, and terrace. Since the hotel sits a bit higher up for the view, they provide a free shuttle to and from the main road, which was seriously helpful. The rooms were nice and had all the amenities. The whole hotel was clean and neatly organized, and the staff were polite and helpful. We ate all three meals at the restaurant, and the food was very nice, with a great breakfast buffet too. Definitely recommend staying here. This isn’t a paid review.

The food was delicious, with a good variety, and the service was prompt and well managed. We also had beautiful river views and clean, comfortable rooms. The peaceful surroundings made the trip more memorable, and the warm, attentive staff made our stay extra special. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway at The Great Ganga, Rishikesh.

The staff at Great Ganga were so hospitable and attentive that I arrived as a guest and left feeling like a friend. They even surprised me with flowers for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. My room was huge, quiet, and spacious, with great views of the Ganga River. The river banks are only a minute’s walk away, and the hotel is well placed between Ram Jhula and Janki Setu, with either bridge nearby from its respective side. The restaurant had good food and a hearty breakfast. Thanks to everyone at Great Ganga!

We had a good stay location-wise and ended up staying four days. We’d booked two, then extended for another two because my wife had a sudden health problem. The hotel doesn’t have a lift, which caused us some difficulty in the present situation. There also isn’t enough space or a lobby where we could take a morning or evening walk. Complimentary water bottles were in the room on the first day, but on the following days we had to ask for them. Breakfast was good, while lunch and dinner were average.
