There are quite a few steps to climb, but that’s how you reach the great view. Someone met me at the bottom and carried my bag up, even though I arrived at 5:30am. The place is outside the city noise, with lovely views, comfortable beds, and a large room. I liked having a separate shower instead of a wet bath, and the hammock was a nice touch. The yoga room had plenty of supplies and was open all day. It’s a 20 min walk to the city, though restaurants, a convenience store, and massage services are nearby. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

There are many restaurants and bars dotted around the property if you get hungry, and the rooms have an AC, TV, bathtub, and a gallery outside. They also run yoga classes and have a spa in the morning. Hilltop Swiss cottage is a beautiful place with good service and a great view of the Shivalik range. The downside is getting to room 605, where I stayed. You have to climb at least 75 meters to reach it. Still, it’s a nice hotel to consider in Tapovan, and I recommend it.

The reception staff were nice, and the rooms were clean with lots of space. Morning yoga was great, with a wonderful view and the best teacher! I’d definitely recommend this place.

The morning yoga was a highlight, especially in the hall with its lovely view. We spent a week here, surrounded by forest and mountains, and found several nearby restaurants with tasty food.

The staff were a real part of what made our family stay so pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout. Vinod deserves a special thank you for sorting out transport at the last minute and helping deliver our bags. The hotel is budget-friendly and feels like a cozy little residence, with cafés, dry cleaners and spas all close by. We had a great time, keep up the good work!
