Le Roi Floating Huts & Eco Rooms

I enjoyed the jet ski, though I wish it cost a bit less and lasted longer. Service was good, and the staff were very friendly. The location and atmosphere were really nice, with clean surroundings. Thunder and rain with a mild coolness made it especially enjoyable. Rooms were pretty decent, but a TV would be better. The main issue was the price: it felt worth it, but wasn't entirely value for money. Still, a really good experience.

The food was fresh and awesome, and there was lovely live music. It gave me instant peace, a much-needed escape from the city's hustle and a chance to unplug digitally. This is the most tranquil, serene place I've visited in my life. I can't wait to go back.

The views are mesmerizing, especially at sunrise, and the cottage has the necessary amenities plus a panoramic view of the sunrise with mountains. I don't think there's another floating hut option in India. The servicemen were cooperative, especially the manager, whose name I don't remember, and I appreciate his efforts. There was a musical session in the evening too. My only suggestion to the hotel is to add a few more activities to keep people engaged through the day. Once inside the floating huts, people can only leave at checkout. For guests, one day is probably enough.

The peaceful atmosphere makes this a good place to unwind away from city noise. It's right beside the serene Ganga River near Tehri Dam, and waking to flowing water and mountain views felt magical. The riverside rooms were clean and comfortable, with scenic views, and the staff were warm, polite, and ready to help. Food was delicious, with a good mix of local Garhwali flavours and regular options. I loved the easy access to nature, including morning walks by the river, a cool breeze, and calming surroundings. It's also conveniently close to Tehri Dam for sightseeing and adventure activities. A wonderful, highly recommended stay for families, couples, or solo travellers looking for comfort, nature, and relaxation.
