Rishikesh Sadan

Rishikesh Sadan was a wonderful, peaceful place to unwind. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and the staff, setting, food, and wellness activities all made the stay memorable. The views of the mountains and Ganges were beautiful, especially waking to the river and watching the sun rise over the hills. Its location is great if you want to relax and reconnect with nature. My room was clean, spacious, and had the necessary amenities, with a comfortable bed and a well maintained bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and took care to prepare food for my dietary needs. The meals were delicious and healthy, with vegetarian and vegan options. I also enjoyed the yoga and meditation classes, led by knowledgeable, experienced instructors in a calm, supportive setting. They offer Ayurvedic massages and spa treatments too. I highly recommend Rishikesh Sadan for a rejuvenating retreat.

The balcony was the one good thing. Sitting there and listening to the soothing sound of water was lovely, but the service left me fully disappointed. There was no one at reception to help with basic things like a blanket or water. The guest house should have someone available to welcome guests. The charging point was old and didn’t charge properly. There was only one in the room, far from the bed, so I had to stand beside it to charge my device. The washroom lock didn’t work properly either. The facilities don’t justify the high budget, especially when better budget rooms are easy to find in that area of risikesh. This place needs a lot of improvement. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, though I hope they fix these things for future guests. 😟

The view and location are outstanding, but the hotel needs better service and maintenance soon. It seems like an old property, and my room smelled really bad. The rest of the services were good, but because of the room, I didn’t have a very good experience. The view and location are both awesome.

The management team is the best part of Rishikesh Sadan. Everyone was welcoming and pleasant, and the place felt full of positive energy. It’s a sweet, cozy spot with a great view of the hill and a stream running beside it. My family and I had a very relaxing vacation here. The Tapovan location is away from the city chaos but still within walking distance of Ram and Lakshmi Jhoola. You can also walk up the hill for fresh air. I’d recommend it for a relaxing trip with friends, family, or on your own. It felt very safe for a woman traveling alone.
