SKI RISHIKESH (By Hotel SK International)

Dirty bedding, a foul smell, and cockroaches made it uncomfortable to spend time in the room at Ski Hotels & Resort, Rishikesh. The bedsheets, blankets, and other bedding were stained and didn't seem to have been cleaned properly before we arrived. There was also water leaking from the bathroom above, creating an unhygienic setting. Housekeeping and maintenance were poor, with dirty linen and an overall lack of upkeep. Cleanliness and hygiene are basic expectations, and this property failed on both. I urge management to improve housekeeping, pest control, room maintenance, and guest hygiene standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here. Photos are attached as evidence of the room condition.

The room was dirty, the bathroom hygiene was unacceptable, and the bed was uncomfortable. Service was slow, staff showed little interest in solving problems, and the online photos didn't match what we found. There was also a noisy environment and extremely unprofessional service. It felt like a waste of money and time, and one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I wouldn't recommend this place, since there are many better options. Basic amenities were missing, and when we raised concerns, the staff were unhelpful. Cleanliness was below standard, and maintenance issues weren't addressed after we informed them. The stay didn't meet expectations and wasn't worth the price. Better management and service could improve the hotel, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Getting to the hotel by road was easy, and its location was convenient. The rooms were clean, neat, and well maintained. Staff were supportive and ready to help. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The hotel response below is misleading. During our entire 3-day stay, we were repeatedly told the issues would be fixed in “a few hours,” but nothing was resolved. The lift and AC not working was never properly communicated. The “scooty” was given in exchange for our car, not as a goodwill gesture. “Complimentary food” is misleading too. We were willing to pay but expected fair compensation, which was refused. A staff member also came into the room without getting a response after ringing the bell, raising serious privacy concerns. Our room change request was denied, and staff, including the manager, were rude and unhelpful. We are sharing our genuine experience so others know. The room was on the 3rd floor, and the lift didn't work for all 3 days. The AC didn't work at all during the stay. Towels had visible blood stains and color marks, and the bedsheets smelled very bad and didn't feel clean. The water supply was unreliable, the Wi-Fi didn't work, the closet door was broken or missing, and the hairdryer provided was damaged and burnt. The washroom window had a gap through which someone could see from outside, so there was no proper privacy. The online advertised arcade was closed. Valet parking made no sense: staff parked the car, but when we needed it, we were told to go bring it ourselves. When we asked to change rooms because of these problems, the request was refused without help or resolution. Overall, a very poor experience, far from what was advertised online. Management made no effort to resolve the problems or improve the stay. I wouldn't recommend this property and don't know how it's even a 4 star hotel.
