Yog Niketan by Sanskriti

We spent two nights here in feb 2026, and my family was very happy with the stay. I rarely give five stars, but this one deserved them. The staff were polite and always supportive, and the food was delicious. The location is excellent. From the balcony, you get a full view of Ganga Ma and can watch Parmarth evening Aarti. If you’re planning a trip to Rishikesh, this is a must-stay.

A clothes rack for washing and drying was a thoughtful touch and came in handy. We also loved watching the Ganga Aarti, which made the visit especially memorable. Yog by Niketan has a calm, soothing atmosphere that’s great for relaxing and feeling connected spiritually. The location reflects the peaceful side of Rishikesh. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the staff were polite, respectful, and happy to help. I’d recommend it to families and anyone wanting a comfortable, peaceful stay.

The hotel opens straight onto a ghat between Shatrughna ram jhula and janari setu bridge, with a view you can enjoy throughout your stay. Parmarth Niketan is just across the river, and the property is conveniently connected to important places and adventure activities. It’s at the entrance to Rishikesh, with the famous "Sivananda Ashram" above it. A big thank you to Vijender Singh from the hotel staff and Lilavti at reception for their cooperation and excellent hospitality. Manager FnB Rohit also deserves a shoutout for preparing fasting food and using fresh oil to cook it. The Masala Tea was so appealing it chased away all our tiredness. For vegetarian food, I’d especially recommend the mix lentil kebab- GATHWAL SPL, almond soup, and pumpkin parmesan soup. Om.

The rooms are simple, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They aren’t ultra-luxurious, but they suit a restful stay focused on relaxation and spirituality. We also had an excellent, professionally done spa session that helped us unwind after a day in Rishikesh. Food was fresh and flavorful, and everything we ordered was delicious. With the lunch or dinner package, it’s open-menu ordering rather than a buffet. You can choose anything from the menu without a limit, except beverages. Breakfast doesn’t have the big spread you’d find at a large brand hotel, but each item tasted exceptional, so quality matters more than quantity here. The setting is peaceful, scenic, and spiritually uplifting, with direct access to the Ganga ghat for serene walks in the morning or evening. Ram Jhula and the main road and local markets are conveniently close, while the hotel stays away from the noise and chaos. From arrival onward, every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome with warmth and attention. Yog Niketan by Sanskriti was a wonderful stay, and we’d gladly return for the comfort, food, spirituality, and heartfelt hospitality.
