Hotel Grand City by OYO Rooms

The food was awesome, though breakfast didn't meet what I expected. The boys were helpful with pretty much every customer need, and the hospitality and service quality were excellent. I'd definitely recommend visiting this hotel.

A terrible stay, the place clearly isn't maintained. We booked two rooms for six adults after being told there would be king size beds, but the beds turned out to be queen size. They did manage to give us one large room, but the online booking details were false. The curtains were torn and dirty, and so were the blankets. I'd give it zero. Worst stay.

The location is prime. I booked through OYO and expected them to ask for extra money, so I wasn't surprised when it happened. Honestly, OYO's rates seem far too cheap and the whole hospitality industry is suffering. Even so, 1k for a double bed AC room isn't exorbitant. The staff were polite enough, though maybe that was because I didn't make a fuss about the extra charge.

Only book this place if you get it for Rs 300. I spent one night dealing with a horrible bathroom. The first room they offered, on the first floor, had a broken shower. I accepted their second option on the 4th floor, but that bathroom was awful too: no inside lock, nowhere to put soap except a mug, a broken commode, and water all over the floor. I had to stand in the bucket to shower. I tried calling reception from the phone, but it was dead, even though the hotel boy had used it the previous night.
