The lack of basic items, like an iron, was a problem, and the service felt unprofessional. The receptionist was very rude, and staff didn’t communicate properly. When we asked about booking for the next day, their answers seemed fake and gave us no clear or honest information. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It wasn’t worth what I paid, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room didn’t match its description, it wasn’t clean, and the service fell short of even basic expectations. A very disappointing experience.

There wasn’t an individual chair, and the wardrobe doors wouldn’t stay closed. We got just one bottle of water a day for two people. There was no hot water until 9 a.m., and we had to go to the hotel or a tea shop to get tea because the staff didn’t help.

I’ve picked kanak residency several times for guests coming from different parts of kerala. The rooms are clean and good quality, and the room service is great. It’s always been a highly rated place to stay in thalassery, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, peaceful stay.
