Some tuk tuks won't take you there because the access is tricky, especially with the road in poor condition. Still, it’s well worth staying if you want more than just a room. The place is peaceful and relaxing, and the owners were such a kind, supportive couple. We had breakfast and dinner there, both delicious, and they asked what we wanted and did their best to make it for us. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this homestay. 💚😊

For a longer stay in Vaivom city, Vembanad Lake Villas feels like home, with a lakeside setting and authentic homemade Kerala food. It’s a very safe place. Love from Sri Lanka. Regards, Nj & NR.

The Keralan dishes were some of our favourite food on the whole trip, and the family hosting us were lovely. They also helped us book taxis and arrange tours. It’s a wonderful, quiet retreat, and I strongly recommend staying here.

We had a great time riding the pedal boats around the property, and the view of Vembanad Lake is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly they felt almost like family, and the home-cooked food was delicious. It reminded me a lot of Taj Goa, but was much more affordable and really good value for money. A truly memorable stay, highly recommended.
