Capital O 84240 Hotel Galaxy

I paid ₹3,800 altogether for a room that was smelly, uncomfortable, and unclean. The service was awful, and the receptionist’s rude, unprofessional manner made it worse. I arrived at 6 AM and told the young man at reception I needed the room until 11 AM. He charged ₹1,800, saying the rate was the same for a half day or a full day. Later I chose to stay overnight and told a lady at reception, who aggressively demanded another ₹2,500 despite the amount I’d already paid. She acted more like a thug than hotel staff. I paid to avoid an argument, but the whole experience was horrible. I’d never recommend Galaxy Inn Hotel in Mumbai. Stay away.

The room service staff and receptionists were cooperative, and the veg food I ordered through them was tasty and good quality. I stayed one day for an official trip, booked offline, and found the room well furnished, comfortable, and maintained. The location is convenient for railway station travellers, just a two-minute walk away. I did feel the price was a little high, but I understand that’s common near Mumbai Thane railway station. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

The charges are very expensive, and I had a really bad experience. The receptionist woman behaved rudely and didn’t know how to talk to people. The staff were bad too. Everyone should avoid this Galaxy Inn hotel.

My December 2021 stay was great, so I booked again, but this visit was a completely different experience. The room we changed to was even worse than the first. Cleaning wasn’t up to standard, and the surfaces felt oily. The exhaust didn’t work, and when we complained, they just said it didn’t function. There were cobwebs in the upper corners, as though they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Last time, staff brought outside food to our room, but this time they told us to collect it at the counter, saying they only deliver food ordered from the hotel. The service boy was just sitting there. It felt like the staff didn’t care about us once we had booked the room.
