OYO 41076 Hotel Dhiraj Residency

The only positive was the location. I booked this hotel because a relative was admitted to Jupiter hospital and no other nearby hotels had rooms, so I needed somewhere for a couple of nights. The rooms were below average for what they charge. Unless you’re left with no choice, there’s no point booking here. There was cigarette smoke in the lobby and the rooms all the time. The sheets and blankets were soiled, unclean, and stinky, and the lobby and rooms smelled of smoke. The place used to be very good years ago, but is now dilapidated and needs major refurbishment. I couldn’t stand it and checked out within 12 hrs to look elsewhere. The price is hefty for what you get, and they don’t give receipts either. Pros: location. Cons: poor quality, unclean and unhygienic, with cigarette smoke and stinky bedding.

We’d booked 14 rooms out of the 25 they say they have, well in advance, but the rooms still weren’t ready on check-in day. Staff didn’t know which rooms were occupied or which ones to allot us, and our guests waited 1 hour while they sorted it out. We ordered tea and biscuits, but those took half an hour to reach the rooms. Staff were unhelpful and sounded rude, so I wasn’t happy with the service. We only booked because we had a marriage to attend in the banquet next door. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Don’t waste your money.

Enjoyed the stay. It was a good experience.

We booked 15+ rooms because we had a function in Shehnai hall next door. The rooms weren’t ready, some had no keys, the bathrooms weren’t clean, and staff were confused about which room was booked under whose name. They also didn’t provide water in the rooms. The staff were rude and management was poor. Do not book this hotel.
