Atchaya Rooms By OYO Rooms

The toilet smelled awful, and the wash basin had food waste in it. The place was full of mosquitoes, with no service, no drinking water, no security camera, and not at all hygienic. Families, don’t get fooled by the good reviews like I did. It’s more like a lodge than a prime hotel, and should be removed from Oyo’s list. This is a 600rs-category place. I paid 3000 for two rooms.

The rooms were hygienic, and you can choose AC or non-AC to suit your needs. Wi-Fi was good, probably around 50mbps. The manager was polite and would fix any issues customers had. It’s opposite the new Thanjavur bus stand, so getting around is easy.

The location, staff, and amenities are good, and the owner is really friendly. I stay here regularly. The rooms are good too, though the bathroom could be improved. He sometimes turns down Oyo check-ins because the tariff plan is too low. It suits bachelors, but I wouldn't recommend it for families.

For a quick, low-cost stop near the bus stop, this place has basics like hot water, AC, and a TV. The rent is fairly low, which helps make up for how cramped the rooms are.
