After a week on the road, we had a peaceful night here. The rooms were very clean, and the building has a lovely heritage feel, making it a great spot for a weekend. Sentil Kumar was a big help with parking and other facilities. There isn’t proper parking, though, so we left the car on the roadside.

We spent two of our three days in Thanjavur here and had a very good stay. It’s close to the Maratha palace, in an old house converted into a small boutique hotel. The manager and staff were polite and very helpful, and I’d recommend the place. A bit more housekeeping and maintenance would really help. The property is beautiful, and more attention to dusting and cleanliness could make a big difference. There’s no restaurant, which is fine, but the rooms should have more tea, coffee, and milk powder. Those are basic amenities, as are proper toiletries in the bathroom.

We loved the atmosphere and got a warm welcome. The rooms feel original, and they’re clean and spacious. The bathroom was lovely too, and the air-conditioning was quiet. Such a nice place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it!

A really peaceful setting, and the boutique hotel was amazing. Public transport of all kinds is nearby, so getting around is easy. They also serve a variety of breakfasts. Worth staying for the experience.

We spent one night here with family, most of them senior citizens, and struggled because even basic services were missing. There were no taps in the bathrooms, the geyser didn’t work, and they hadn’t provided any buckets for the seniors. After we asked, the hotel supplied one bucket for everyone to share. There was no intercom either, so we had to go to the help desk in person. I wouldn’t recommend it for families. Solo travelers might somehow manage.
