I booked Superior and Premium rooms through MMT. The stay was comfortable overall, and both reception and housekeeping staff were nice and professional. The rooms felt too small for the premium price. MMT mentioned blackout curtains, but there weren't any. Ventilation wasn't proper either, so it got suffocating without AC. They should also provide a bathroom wiper, especially since there's no glass partition to keep the rest of the bathroom dry.

The hotel was clean and smelled pleasant, and its walking distance to both the railway and bus stations is convenient. My single occupancy room cost ₹2,000 per day, including GST and breakfast, but the complimentary breakfast was only average. Check-in at 1:00 PM felt late and the 11:00 AM check-out early. The room was incredibly small, with no roadside view, and felt cramped and claustrophobic, like being shut in a four-walled cell. With so little space, I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were all friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome. The queen-sized room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a modern, spotless bathroom. Goodland Hotel is a genuinely wonderful choice for a premium stay near Trivandrum central railway station. There's an ayurvedic spa on the 4th floor and an in-house restaurant, with rate cards provided in the rooms. Complimentary breakfast is included with certain packages.

The room was satisfactory for the price, and the staff were exceptionally courteous. Be careful in the parking area: the lane is very narrow, and my vehicle got a significant scratch on the bumper as I was leaving. I saw several other cars with similar damage there. Breakfast had limited choices, which a notice attributed to international supply shortages. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is that there is no swimming pool.

Food is very costly if you haven't pre-booked it, so I wouldn't recommend eating here. The location was great, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and cozy, everything felt comfortable and easy, and the staff were kind and welcoming. I had a lovely experience and would happily come back.
