The breakfast was a decent spread of South Indian dishes, sausages, eggs, and cut fruit, though nothing special. Dinner, which came with my booking through the hotel app, was disappointing: just soup, a main with rice or roties, and some deserts, with no starters and limited choice. In my room, 904, the bed was comfortable, but most pillows were hard and the towels were well past their useful life. The bathroom had a toothbrush and paste and a shower cap, but no shaving blade or cream. The lobby reception had water-stained walls and looked dated, and so did the lifts. A sign said the lift needed an access card, but I didn't need to use one during my two days. The hotel sits on a narrow, unpleasant-looking road next to the fire brigade, though that wasn't a major issue. The staff were nice, but the reception let the brand down. After a fabulous stay at the Hilton on my last trip to Trivandrum two months ago, I chose Keys this time because it's close by. This stay was only average, and I don't think I'd return. At this price, I'd prefer something more.

The place is run down, though the staff were well behaved. The rest was okay, but during my three-day stay I felt they repeatedly tried to exploit customers and maximize profit by any means. I asked for a one-liter Bisilary water and was charged 64 rupees. I mentioned that our Honble PM had asked long ago that it not cost more than RS 24 per liter, but they gave no explanation. I had similar experiences with various items.

The staff were very nice and offered me an early check-in, though I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast. The hotel is well located: less than 2 km from Sri Padmanabhan Swami temple, and the famous Ganesha temple is 400 meters from Padmanabhan Swami temple. Atukal devi temple is about 3.5 KM away.

The hotel has a good breakfast spread, served from 7 to 11, which made it convenient for my early meetings and appointments. It's an excellent budget option, with very supportive staff.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were humble and cooperative. The property is quite good and conveniently close to the airport. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay.
