The management was rude and arrogant. Whenever we asked for help, we were told the rules didn't allow it. There wasn't even a water purifier. We had two non-AC rooms, and the power went out. When it came back, the AC switched on by itself, and the manager made us pay a fine. It made no sense. Before we checked out, he gave the rooms to other people. That wasn't decent behavior. I don't want to give the hotel even one star, and would advise people not to book this hotel or resort.

It costs ₹1850 a night for a non-AC room. The property is an old royal houshold that's been refurbished as a hotel, with large, clean rooms and attentive staff.

Our group had more than 40 people, and everything was managed smoothly without any inconvenience. The staff were polite and helpful, the service was excellent, and the spacious rooms had all the amenities. The place has a lovely ambiance and really feels like heritage, with an olden-era atmosphere, almost like the British period. Its location on the main road is convenient, with transport and shops easily available outside. It's only 10 minutes from the railway station and close to Padmanabhaswamy Temple. If you visit Thiruvananthapuram, this is the one and only homestay to go to. 🤗🥰😍
