O by Tamara, Trivandrum

From February 9th to 14th, we stayed at O by Tamara again, this time with my wife, son, my wife's sister, and her husband. The cleanliness was impressive throughout, from the rooms to the lobby and other common areas. Breakfast is still a highlight for us, with food we love for both its variety and quality. Our little boy was running around the lobby and catching everyone's attention as usual. The staff showed him so much genuine affection and care. Special thanks to Shruti, Maya, and Anita at the front office. Their kindness and warmth toward our son made the stay especially meaningful, and we won't forget them. O by Tamara made us feel at home again, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

Even though I booked the lowest category, a standard room, I got a pool view and a lovely sunset view. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was very good. The hotel is conveniently near a shopping mall. After checkout, guests can still use the gym and sauna. We enjoyed the stay and hope to return.

I spent three days at O by Tamara for a friend's wedding. The halls looked beautiful, the events were organized well, and the food was consistently good. The rooms are spacious and well designed, and there's a pillow menu if you want to adjust your comfort. Wedding guests can unwind at the High Dive bar, which has a standard Buy 2 Get 1 happy hour. Lulu Mall is a short walk away, and the airport is about a 10-minute drive. Traffic on the NH bypass gets very busy at peak times, so allow for that when heading to the city center. Bring bug spray for outdoor wedding events or time by the pool, as mosquitoes can be a nuisance. A great, well-run wedding venue with good food and large rooms.

O Cafe has an enormous buffet, with a huge range of dishes and beautifully arranged desserts. I haven't seen a spread this large at another hotel. The restaurant is spacious, with attractive interiors, wooden furniture, large tables, and a soothing view of the pool. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the reception area felt welcoming, with a dedicated seating space. The floor was sparkling clean. There's also a jewellery shop and cafe on that level, both nicely kept, with friendly staff. The rooms have good amenities, and the staff are always ready to help. The location adds a lot to the stay: Lulu Mall is directly opposite, and Sri Padmanabh Swami Temple is about a 10-minute drive away.
