Classic Sarovar Portico Thiruvanathapuram - A Sarovar Hotel

The rooms were good, and the front desk, security, and housekeeping all did well. Staff seem proud of their service and the hotel’s standing. It was a good four-star experience, and they’re working to raise the level of service and the overall experience.

The staff were friendly and hospitable, and the food had a nice selection of South Indian dishes. The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The hotel is in a good area, about a kilometre from Padmanabhswamy temple. I had a good experience there :)

The hotel itself may have five-star infrastructure, but the security team’s conduct really affected my impression. I made a small mistake in the parking area, though nothing was damaged. Even after I parked properly, the security staff reacted out of proportion, with condescending body language and comments that felt unprofessional. I found that lack of hospitality unacceptable for a place of this caliber.

The restaurant was very good, and our rooms were nice too. Rajan, the hotel driver, helped us a lot while we were sightseeing in Kanyakumari. He was with us from the pickup in Kochi right through to our airport drop-off. All the staff were cooperative.
