OYO Flagship TVM315 Fairland Guest House

I needed a place urgently for a couple of days and was content with this budget-friendly stay. The guesthouse is a bit tucked away beside a church, with a decent amount of parking for a two-wheeler, though space is cramped if you have a car. Rooms were neat and tidy, and the friendly staff and manager were helpful. There was no table or chair, so I worked from the bed. Power kept going out while I was there, apparently because it was a city-wide issue. The main problem was the open drain overflowing on the street at the entrance from the main road. Otherwise, it’s good for 1-2 days.

I’ve stayed at a dozen hotels in Trivandrum, and this was one of my best experiences. The property was clean and had a lovely old-time charm, the room was wonderful, and the amenities were great. The staff were amazing, hospitable, and there whenever I needed anything. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I had a great experience and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Fairland guest house is close to the center and railway station, and the price for what you get is very good. My room was cozy, pleasant, and clean. What stood out most was the team: they were friendly, patient, and helpful, and I could bring any concern to them at any time, day or night. I’d definitely check in again on my next visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting here.

The staff service was good, and since there were three of us, they gave us a bigger room. We did find cockroaches and big ants, and there weren’t any toiletries. The stay was okay overall.
