We gave the hotel plenty of notice that we’d arrive late, but our room still wasn’t ready. Staff seemed indifferent to guests, and we skipped the restaurant after hearing North Indian guests repeatedly complain to the manager about its service. The room itself was stuffy and dusty around the ceiling and corners, and the AC cooling couldn’t be controlled. The worst surprise was two cockroaches coming out from beneath the pillows on our supposedly freshly made bed, then several more on the floor. The linen was torn, shaggy and smelly, as if it hadn’t been washed for a long time or had been used far too much. Even the replacement linen from housekeeping was no better. The hotel was in very poor condition, and so was the service.

The facilities were a mess: broken hooks, leaking pipes, and things that didn’t work properly. The rooms looked badly outdated, like they hadn’t been renovated in years, and the price felt like a rip-off. Breakfast was cold, had no variety, and tasted terrible. It was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had. I’d never return and would tell people to avoid the place.

The hotel looked decent in the photos and from outside, but staying there was a bad experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it even at Rs 500 a night. There was no service and the AC wasn’t running. The room had bugs and mosquitoes, with only the man at reception available to take service calls. Breakfast was poor, just a few South Indian dishes, and they weren’t hot. There wasn’t even bread or jam. When we raised it with the man on duty, he said they had no money to buy them. We regretted choosing the place based on its photos.

Kingway on Air port Road, Tvpm is a good option if you want to stay in the city. The staff are honest and sincere, and their approach to customers is really impressive.
