The Lodge

The guys, Akash & Junaidh, were so friendly and attentive that we felt welcome right away. Our room was incredibly clean, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable for a great night's sleep. The Lodge is also just a short walk from the Railway Station. We had a truly wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back!

The owner/manager’s rude behavior was the last straw. After we returned for our luggage, our bags had been left on the staircase, and he told us to leave immediately and wouldn’t even let us sit there. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. We had checked out at 6 AM because of our travel plans, asking them to hold our luggage until evening; the discomfort had already made us leave early. We stayed from around 10 PM on Day 1 after booking two days, but paid the full amount immediately on arrival despite having paid 50% in advance. Our non-AC room was very small and smelled bad. Though it already had an AC installed, they wanted an extra ₹500 per day to use it, which seemed unreasonable when the difference was only 200 rupees. There were no basic toiletries or water bottle provided. We asked for the first bottle, which was supposed to be complimentary, but they asked us to pay, so we did. A very unpleasant stay and a big mistake. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s near the temple, but I’d suggest booking another hotel.

The location worked well, close to the train station and about a 15min walk to the temple. We booked a room the same day and the staff let us check in at 1am. They were super friendly and flexible. The room had the necessities, including soap and towels. Thanks for the stay 🙏

We had a good stay in a comfortable room and didn’t run into any other problems. The one thing to keep in mind for future guests is that drinking water wasn’t provided. Thank you.
