MothiMahal Residency Thrissur

The room was great, and the washroom was well maintained, giving the place a pleasant atmosphere. We were happy with breakfast at the attached restaurant and really appreciated the service. The Mothimahal team welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late. One small suggestion: make the roadside sign easier to see so guests can find the hotel more easily.

The atmosphere felt noisy and disturbing at night, and I didn't feel the hotel was safe for families or children. There isn't proper security or any real sense of responsibility. The basement bar draws many regular drunk customers, who seem to get priority over people staying at the hotel. Tourists can feel like outsiders while bar guests are treated like VIPs. I strongly warn families with kids against booking here. It cost us money and peace of mind.

The spot is peaceful and quiet, just opposite the temple pond, and it works well for a visit to the famous Vadakkunathan temple. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the service. There were only very minor issues, so it was a lovely place to stay.

The team made a strong impression from check-in onward. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and keen to help whenever I asked for something. You don't often find staff who pay such genuine attention to guests. I was thoroughly impressed with the hospitality, and the central location in Thrissur town made for a nice stay at Mothimahal Residency.
