The room was roomy and comfortable, and the temple is an easy walk away. There’s no restaurant in the lodge, but they do provide a place for drivers to sleep.

On our first visit to Tiruchendur, my mother and I weren’t happy with the place we stayed. This time, after asking around at several places, we chose this one for a night and then extended into the daytime to wait for our train. It was much more comfortable, with good service and an easy walk to the temple. I recommend it.

For Rs. 1500 a night, we found the stay good value. There’s also a larger double room for Rs. 2000 per night. The online check-in was simple, and the noon-to-noon check-in and check-out timing worked well for us. Our room was cozy, with a comfortable double bed and lovely wooden interiors. The bathroom looked modern and clean, with tiled walls and hot water available all the time. They supplied two soap sachets, toothpaste, two toothbrushes, two shampoo sachets, and a comb. The small AC room also had a fan and felt secure and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great experience and would gladly return or recommend the hotel.

The room and toilet were clean, and the staff were polite and cooperative. Service was okay, and the temple is just 230m away. You can get tea or coffee brought to the room if you ask, but for food you’ll need to walk at least 100 metres. The staff don’t understand English, so Tamil works better. There was no internet or Wi-Fi. Management kept the window shutters locked, and we would have liked more wardrobe space.
