We lost around 3K rupees just going in and out of a shabby place. When we asked to check out immediately, the receptionist refused a refund. We offered to let them deduct one night’s charge and return the rest, but he wouldn’t agree. They couldn’t even give me a receipt. I’ll never go back or recommend it, especially to families with kids. I’d told the staff we were coming as a family, and they said there was no problem. But our room had an ashtray and cigarette butts, and it was sealed up, unventilated and suffocating. The next room they gave us was the same. I had to ask them to clean the toilet. While we were checking in, a guy brought a girl to ‘check into a room’. She kept her scarf on even though a board clearly asked people to remove scarves for the camera. It was pretty clear what was happening. The manager had called the place family-friendly, but it didn’t feel that way at all. Worst experience ever. The staff didn’t cooperate.
