Hotel Adarsh Residency

Our non AC standard room was tidy and very clean, with a nice, clean washroom. The staff and manager were supportive, and it was a good hotel overall for families and friends coming for Tirupati Balaji Darshan. The location is nice, very near the railway and bus stations, with plenty of hotels and transport services nearby. Buses to Tirumala are also very close.

Late at night, my family and I were left frustrated and disappointed. We'd confirmed and paid for an extra bed when booking, but when I asked after arriving after 10 PM, before leaving for Tirumala, a staff member told us to wait in the room and said they'd bring it. After a long wait I went downstairs and found that person lying down asleep. When I asked again, Sreenu demanded extra money for the bed already included in our reservation, and the manager on duty also refused to honor the original agreement. I said I'd complain to the person who handled the payment, but the staff responded disrespectfully and unprofessionally, saying a complaint would be futile. This was a bad experience, and the lack of basic integrity and customer service from both staff and manager was unacceptable.

Hotel Adarsh is a good, decent budget choice near the bus stand, and the railway station is within walking distance. Staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in easy. My room was spacious and well maintained, and the service was excellent. I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Adarsh Tirupati and would highly recommend it if you're looking for an affordable hotel.

The location is very close to both railway station and bus stand, only a 5-10 minute walk to each. Apart from that, the rooms and service were all awful. I suggest not booking if you're travelling with kids or family.
