Hotel Golden Rooms By OYO Rooms

The car park they advertise isn't safe. I had to leave my car outside the gate, where heavy vehicles were passing. Once they have your money, nobody seems to care about the customers, the parking, or your vehicle. The room was awful and nothing like the neat pictures they post online. Public toilets are better. Don't be fooled by the photos, please don't go here.

The place is a bit outside the city, around 4-5 km from both the railway station and bus station. Rooms and service are okay, but nothing special. We had to ask the manager several times to clean our room before it was done properly.

We booked three nights through OYO, and the first room had a faulty toilet flush and taps that gave electric shocks, which was really annoying. The towel was unusable and in very bad condition, and the bed linen looked like it hadn't been washed properly, if at all. After we complained, they moved us to another room with a working washroom, but the towel and linen were just as bad. We bought our own bedsheets at Reliance for 800rs. This hotel isn't suitable for any decent person, and you could end up with skin allergies. I wish I could give it zero stars.

The place was only okay, and I expected better for what I paid. My friend checked the price with them the day before check-in, but once we arrived they asked us to update the guest count and changed the price. Even after paying so much, they said breakfast wasn't part of my booking. They don't take cards, so you have to pay online or in cash. We could clearly hear noise from the other rooms all night, which was irritating, and the cleanliness wasn't great either.
